Pursuant to the bylaws, all REALTOR® firms are hereby notified that the Election of the 2025 Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc. Board of Directors will be held on November 4, 2024. The following offices will be open to any REALTOR® member in good standing with Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc., who meets the bylaws qualifications.

NOMINATION QUALIFICATIONS: (please check to certify):
I am affiliated with a non-designated firm based on the total participants and subscribers associated with Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc.


Qualifications: REALTOR® membership in good standing with any Shareholder of the Corporation. Shareholder Board/Associations include: St. Louis REALTORS®, the St. Charles REALTORS® , the Southern Gateway Association of REALTORS®, the Franklin County Board of REALTORS®, the East Central Board of REALTORS®, the South Central Board of REALTORS®, the Pulaski County Board of REALTORS®, the Lebanon Board of REALTORS®, the Mineral Area Board of REALTORS®, Southwestern Illinois Board of REALTORS®, Southeast Missouri REALTORS®, the Mark Twain Association of REALTORS®, the Three Rivers Board of REALTORS® and the Bootheel Regional Board of REALTORS®.

Geographic categorization. Per MARIS Bylaws, an area is considered “Urban” if it has a population of 50,000 or more; and an area is considered “Suburban” if it has a population of at least 2,500 and less than 50,000; and an area is considered “Rural” if it has a population of less than 2,500, or if the area is unincorporated; an area is considered “Resort” if it has a recognized tourist attraction or vacation destination or is not classified as Urban, Suburban, or Rural. Populations shall be determined by the most recently available information from the U.S. Census Bureau. The foregoing default categorizations are utilized as guidance for self-classification when a nomination is submitted; all selfclassification is subject to the Credential Committee’s powers provided in Section 6.5(c).

The Board of Directors shall have no more than one member from any individual firm, per MARIS Bylaws.

The three largest firms are determined by member counts run on August 31st. The top three firms appoint one board member each. Coldwell Banker Realty - Gundaker, eXp Realty, LLC, Worth Clark Realty.

I fully understand that this office / directorship requires that I serve the membership of Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc., and, further that I represent the membership in the decisions and activities of Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc. I acknowledge my responsibility to always place the interest of Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc. members above my personal or geographic considerations.

I pledge to faithfully execute the responsibilities of the office / directorship for which I have been nominated. I further pledge to uphold the bylaws of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®, the Missouri REALTORS®, and/or Illinois REALTORS®, and Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc.

I will, to the best of my ability, serve as an example of the Associations' Code of Ethics in all of my actions, both as an officer / director of Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc. and as a REALTOR®. Further, I will uphold and support the decisions made by the Directors of Mid-America Regional Information Systems, Inc.
